Adding Additional Capital to Your Fund
Most of the time, the Fund Manager will be able to use the initial deposit or the deposits provided by the funds investor to perform trades. But there may be time when you want to add your own funds to perform additional capital for trades.
You will need to use WETH not ETH to add more capital to your funds. You can swap ETH for WETH on Uniswap or your mobile wallets built in swap.
1. Ensure you are connecting to the GURU Dapp with the same wallet you used to create the Fund.
Using your desktop browser or Wallet Apps internal browser. Navigate to GURU.FUND/FUNDS
Ensure the wallet you used to create your fund is connect to the Dapp by clicking "Connect Wallet" on the top right of the page.
Once your wallet is connected, click on the wallet button again which should display your wallet address.
From the menu, select "Your Funds" for the list of options.
The Funds Manager screen will display all the funds you currently manage.
Select the Fund you would like to add assets to.
On the funds screen you will see information about your fund.
You will see the area with options to "Deposit/Withdraw" or "Trade".
By default, the area will be on "Deposit/Withdraw", which is where you want to be.
Ensure the top field is on "WETH" and the bottom field should be the token of your fund.
In the top field, enter the amount of WETH you would like to deposit.
The Dapp will now generate a quote. Once it completes, select "Deposit"
The GURU Dapp will present a pop up with the trades summary. "
When prompted by your wallet, select the confirmation button to approve the trade.
You have now added additional capital for trading to your fund.
