Closing Your Fund
For whatever the reason, sometimes a GURU or Fund Manager will want to close a fund. When doing so, the fund manager will be able to withdraw their allocated share of the fund based on size of their share. The investors of the fund will be able to withdraw their funds at their convenience. Once the "Close Fund" process has started. Investors will not be able to make new deposits into the fund, only withdraw.
Ensure you are connecting to the GURU Dapp with the same wallet you used to create the Fund.
Using your desktop browser or Wallet Apps internal browser. Navigate to GURU.FUND/FUNDS
Ensure the wallet you used to create your fund is connect to the Dapp by clicking "Connect Wallet" on the top right of the page.
Once your wallet is connected, click on the wallet button again which should display your wallet address.
From the menu, select "Your Funds" for the list of options.
The Funds Manager screen will display all the funds you currently manage.
Select the Fund you would like to add assets to.
On the funds screen you will see information about your fund.
You will see the area with options to "Deposit/Withdraw" or "Trade".
Select "Trade"
Below the "Swap" button, you will see another button that says "Close Fund"
Select "Close Fund"
The GURU dapp will produce a pop up asking for confirmation to close the fund.
Click "Accept"
Your wallet will prompt you for authorization which you will need to accept to close the fund.
Your fund is now closed.
